Through my work, I explore and confront my relationship with the self. I’m interested in the way this relationship has affected the way I have existed in, moved through, and interacted with the world around me throughout my life, and how all of that is changing as I actively and intentionally change this personal relationship. My work pulls from my personal past – including memory, feelings, lived experiences and relationships with others – to understand how and why the culmination of these things shaped and created this version of myself.

My work in the past has mainly utilized digital photography, with experiments in film photography, alternative processes and performance work. However, as my work has changed over time, writing has become an important aspect of my work as well, and I’ve began experimenting with the inclusion of craft materials.
